I'm on a clogyrnach kick and the 8a-8a-5a-5b-3b-3a rhyme scheme is starting to grow on me. A little.
My first clogyrnach is about love:
Loves Clogyrnach
Love is what makes the world go 'round.
It fuels everything I have found.
It makes the heart glad,
does away with sad,
changes bad.
Life unbound.
First thing this morning (like 12:01-ish) I read the Mainely Write blog submission for L. Donna Smith has a poetry theme based on her photos of signs for her A to Z Blogging Challenge 2015. Her post this morning dealt with Lords Redemption Center, a boarded up shambles of a shack. This picture and post is the inspiration for my bonus clogyrnach:
The Lords Redemption Clogyrnach
Freedom from sin for you and me
The price was paid upon the tree
The Bible has taught
Our works are for naught.
Never bought--It is free.
Here is the link to her L:

And here is a generic link to her blog:

I hope the links work. They do in my draft.

The BOMB
Welcome to the BOMB.
The Blog Of the "Mother" of Bandit.
The Blog Of the "Mother" of Bandit.
Bandit is my Hairless Chinese Crested--he's the "normal" one. I, on the other hand, am unrepentantly "pet-crazy." You know the type--the spinster who lives in the haunted house three blocks over with 72 cats...okay, so I don't have 72 cats, and my house isn't haunted--but my dogs wardrobe is better than mine! Need I say more? :~)
I've never been consistant at journaling, so the timing of my blogs will be sporadic at best. I just hope they are as entertaining to you as they are to me; however, be forewarned: Most of my blogs will be about The BaldOne. In spite of his Don King "do," I think he's just as cute as any of the Brothers B!
Now, if I can just remember not to get him wet--or feed him after midnight...
About Me
- Loulymar
- My bags are packed and I'm always ready to seek out an adventure with Bandit and Moggy in tow. Bandit is my thirteen year old Chinese Crested, who I frequently call The Bald One or The BaldOne Boy (like he was one of the Baldwin Brothers). Moggy’s full name is Pip-Moggy. He’s my two year old gansta-resuce kitty. I couldn’t decide between Pip (which are the spots on die and domino tiles) and Moggy (or Moggie when I mistakenly thought he was a she), so I combined the two. Moggy refers to the British term for "cat of unknown parentage .” So in essence, I have an almost bald dog, and I’ve named my cat “Spot.”
Fun Stuff (I'm doing now or have done)
- Artistic Attempts weekly (alternating between Painting With A Twist, That Art Place, and Peniot's Palette).
- Bunko with the Belton Bunko Babes monthly.
- Participating in the A to Z Blogging Challenge.
- Spades and Liverpool Rummy with the Spadetts weekly.
- The Mighty Texas Dog Walk, Austin (fund raiser for Service Dogs, Inc--they train shelter dogs to be Service Dogs, then give them free of charge to people with disabilities.)

This is so awesome! Loved both of your Clogyrnaches? (assuming this is the plural form) And thanks for linking to me. I added your link to my page, too. (if you go into editor mode, then highlight a url, then click on the Link button, it will automatically make a live link). Thanks for linking to me!
ReplyDelete- Oh, check how you've written they rhyme scheme. You have done it correctly and beautifully, just the way it is explained. It is 8 syllables with a, 8 with a, 5 with b, 5 with b, 3 with b, and 3 with a. So its 8a-8a/5b-5b/3b/3a In case someone wants to try it. Have a wonderful day! I'll check back and see what other goodies you have for the alphabet!
Thanks Donna! I tried linking again, but I'm still not seeing the link--I need an 8 year old to teach me how to do techy stuff. :~) Oh, wait--I think I see it now (in my tags). I was thinking it would be in the body of my comment. I'm such a goober when it comes to this stuff. :~)
